Has anyone used Metronidazole 0.75% Topical Cream for Rosacea? Share your experiences!
I've been recently prescribed Metronidazole 0.75% Topical Cream for my rosacea, and I'm a bit hesitant to start using it because of the potential side effects. I've heard it can help reduce redness, bumps, and pimples, but I'm also concerned about the possibility of allergic reactions and other serious side effects. Has anyone used this cream? What were your experiences? I'd love to know how long it took to see results and if you had any issues. I'd really appreciate some personal testimonials or expert advice to help me decide if this is the right treatment for me. Thanks in advance!

I've been on this cream for a while and it's been helping me a lot. I was starting to get very nervous about the long-term effects of rosacea and I am so glad I came across this cream.
I find that some creams can really dry out my skin. I was really worried about using this cream at first. But it actually doesn't dry out my skin. Everything is great.
I've been using Metronidazole 0.75% Topical Cream for about a month now, and it's been a game-changer for my rosacea. The redness and bumps have significantly reduced, and I'm really happy with the results. I did experience a bit of dryness and stinging at first, but it went away after a week. Just remember to use a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen daily.
Sounds like you're in for a bit of trial and error. Just be consistent with the application and keep an eye on any adverse reactions, and you should be fine.
I had a doctor tell me that it really helped to apply the cream in the morning, as well as using a moisturizer and sunscreen. You can also use it in the evening if you have flare ups. I found this to be true. Try it and see what works.
I had a really bad reaction to this cream. I broke out in hives and my skin was swollen. I had to go to the emergency room. Be careful if you have any allergies.
I didn't have any side effects. I used it for a year and all my rosacea went away.
I really hope it works for you. I used it for two weeks and had a good experience, but it's worth noting that I'm not sure if it will really work for me in the long run. I wonder if I should try using a different cream.
I used this cream and my rosacea got a lot worse. It was really scary. My skin got all red and it was hard to get it under control. It took months to get my skin back to normal.
