I've recently been prescribed Mycelex 10mg Troche to treat thrush. I have some concerns about the side effects, particularly the urgent ones. Has anyone else had experience with this medication and can share their thoughts on how bad the side effects were and whether it was effective for you? Also any tips on how to make sure it works the best and how fast it works?

I had a friend who had to use this, it was really bad. I think your best bet is to just try some natural treatments and see if they work before messing with this medication.

I've used this and I can say that although the numbing effect can be a little all over the place, it's by far the best treatment for thrush I've used.

I've had thrush a few times and used various treatments. I found that Mycelex has the best results however it's not the most comfortable when it comes to side effects.

What are you asking, Mycelex is just a brand name for Clotrimazole, everyone knows that.

I've used Mycelex and found it to be quite effective. I did experience some numbness in my mouth, but it was bearable. It took about 10 days to clear up the thrush completely.

I’m curious about the FDA reporting process. Have any of you reported side effects to the FDA and if so, how smooth was the process?
