I was recently prescribed Mytrex Ointment 60gm for a stubborn yeast infection combined with skin inflammation. The doctor said it contains Nystatin for the yeast and Triamcinolone to reduce redness and itching. I've started using it, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone else used this and can share their experiences? What did you think? I had to stop using Mytrex because of severe headaches. It was weird, but at least I caught it early.
I don't think Mytrex is worth the risk of side effects. I'd rather try a natural remedy before resorting to this.
I used Mytrex for a yeast infection on my skin and it cleared up in a week. Just be patient and follow the instructions.
OMG I had the worst reaction and skin thinning on my face. I would recommend checking with a dermatologist before using this if the area is sensitive.
Stick with it, but keep an eye on any signs of an allergic reaction. I had a friend who had to rush to the hospital because of severe swelling. Hope you have better luck!

I had a bad reaction to the steroid in Mytrex. I ended up with severe skin irritation and had to stop using it. Be careful and monitor your skin closely.
