I've been dealing with athlete's foot for a while now and my doctor prescribed Naftin 1% Cream. I've heard mixed reviews about it, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has used it and how it worked for them. I'm particularly interested in knowing about any side effects people might have experienced. I know it can cause irritation at the application site, but are there any other common side effects? Also, how long did it take for the cream to start working? I've read that it can take up to a month, but some people say they saw results much sooner.

My wife used Naftin for athlete's foot but it didn’t work. She also had some kind of skin reaction and we had to stop using it.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction to it—my skin got really red and itchy. Had to stop using it and switch to something else.

I've had athlete’s foot for a couple of months now. My doctor prescribed Naftin and I’m seeing improvement, but it's been a bit over a week so I’ll have to keep using it.

I used Naftin for jock itch a few years back. It worked well, but I did experience some irritation at the site, like the description said

I’ve been using Naftin for ringingworm and it’s been good so far. The smell is awful though

Make sure to apply it after a shower and let it dry completely. It works way better if you use it right.

I've tried a lot of different creams for athlete's foot, but this one worked the best.

I switched to Naftin after Lamisil didn’t work for me. The cream is more expensive, but it cleared up my athlete's foot in just 2 weeks, and I used it as directed. No side effects for me.

Naftin is pricey for the amount you get, but it works fast and has been worth it for me

I’ve had good results with this. I’ve heard that it can cause big reactions, but it didn’t happen me. I did start to wonder if it was working at first, but by the end of the second week I could tell I was getting better and when I stopped week four my feet were cleared up.
