Has anyone used Neo/poly/gram Ophth Soln to treat an eye infection? What was your experience like?
I've been prescribed Neo/poly/gram Ophth Soln10ml for a bacterial eye infection. I'm a bit nervous about using it since I have a list of severe but rare side effects to worry about. Wondering what the actual experience of using this medication was like for others. I know everyone's experience is unique, but I'd love to hear some firsthand accounts. How long did it take for the infection to clear up? Did you experience any side effects? Tips for using the eye drops would be appreciated as well.

Side effects suck. I know some people get irritable skin and infection but not everyone. I know someone who got hives. Be careful and watch for those signs.
I used this a few months ago and it was awful. I ended up with eye pain that was so bad I had to stop using it. My doctor had to give me a different medication. It was scary at the time I was wondering if I was going to lose my eyesight.
Make sure to shake the bottle well before each use. The suspension needs to be well mixed for the medication to be effective.
I've used this a few times and it works well. No major side effects for me, just some minor irritation. I usually put the drops in before bed so I can sleep through any discomfort.
I don't get why antibiotics are prescribed so often for eye infections. I've always seen the effectiveness but my doctor actually recommended just using a clean cloth on the eyes.
