Has anyone used Pennsaid 1.5% Topical Solution for knee osteoarthritis pain?
I've been struggling with knee osteoarthritis pain for a while now, and my doctor recently prescribed Pennsaid 1.5% Topical Solution. I'm wondering if anyone here has used it and what their experiences have been. Specifically, I'm curious about how well it works for pain relief and if anyone has experienced any side effects. It seems like the possible side effects are scary just reading them, but are they common?

I had a bad reaction to the topical solution, ended up with a rash all over my leg. My doctor switched me to oral medication. It looked like a healing rash but was annoying. Good luck!
Not sure if this is normal, but I've been feeling really tired since I started using it. Anyone else experiencing extreme fatigue?
I've had great results with Pennsaid. I do use a lot of sunscreen, though. I had red eyes from the sun after I forgot to put any on my face! No sunburn to be seen.
Just be careful with this stuff. It's really strong, and you don't want to get it in your eyes or on any open wounds. It burns!
I started using Pennsaid and my knee pain was substantially reduced, but my doctor had to adjust the dosage because I was getting some unpleasant stomach issues. Definitely needs to be managed carefully.
Has anyone else noticed that it's a bit messy to apply? I felt like I was always leaving a residue on my clothes.
