I've recently been prescribed Podofilox 0.5% Solution for treating external genital warts. The doctor explained that it works by stopping the growth of the wart cells, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I used Podofilox a few years ago and it worked well for me. Just be careful to only apply it to the warts and avoid healthy skin. It can sting a bit, but that's normal.
I applied it to the wrong spot accidentally and it was really painful. Be very careful where you put it.
I used it and it worked fine but now I've got no warts, but I get itching once in a while. Can this be a side effect?
I didn't have any side effects and it worked really well. Just make sure to report any issues to the FDA if something goes wrong.
I'm scared to try it because of the awful allergic reactions. Has anyone talked to their doctor about alternatives?
I had a really bad reaction to it. Got a rash and started itching all over. Had to stop using it and switch to another treatment.
