Has anyone used Promethazine 12.5mg Suppositories for nausea? What was your experience like?
I've been prescribed Promethazine 12.5mg Suppositories for severe nausea, but I'm a bit hesitant about using them. I've heard they can make you feel sleepy, which is fine, but I'm also worried about some of the more serious side effects listed, like respiratory problems or neurological symptoms. I've used them a few times and they worked great for my nausea. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and use plenty of lubricant. It might feel a bit weird at first, but it's not too bad.
I always found it odd how something so simple could help with nausea so much. But I think if you can get past the initial weirdness of using a suppository, it's actually a pretty effective treatment. Just take it easy and rest.
I've actually had to use them a few times for allergic reactions. They're great for getting the swelling down and calming everything. Just make sure you're lying down after applying.
Does anyone know if these are safe to use while pregnant? My doctor hasn’t mentioned it, but I’m curious if anyone has personal experience.
