Has anyone used Razadyne (formerly Reminyl) 8mg for Alzheimer's treatment? What was your experience with side effects?
I'm trying to understand more about Razadyne 8mg. I've read that it increases a chemical in the brain which boosts memory and thinking abilities, which sounds great. But I'm really concerned with the potential side effects. Has anyone had a positive experience with this medication and how did you manage any potential side effects?? If there is anyone out there who has a family member on Razadyne, is this medication worth it's potential side effects? I would love to hear any advice or tips for dealing with these side effects. Thanks in advance!

I've been on Razadyne for a few months now, and it's been a mixed bag. I've seen some improvement in memory, but the headaches and nausea can be tough. The doctor helped me adjust the dosage and this has helped.
I saw side effects like dizziness and diarrhea. But if you can tolerate some of the side effects, the benefits seem to outweigh the risks. My grandmother has been on it for a year, and it has done wonders for her.
The idea of using a medication to slow down Alzheimer's is great, but the side effects might be too much.
I'm no expert, but these side effects sound pretty scary. I would seriously consider alternatives. The FDA should have a look into this.
