Has anyone used S-2 2.25% Inh Soln (Racepinephrine) for asthma or croup? What was your experience like?
I've recently been prescribed S-2 2.25% Inh Soln (Racepinephrine) for mild asthma attacks. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects? I've read that it can cause some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Also, does anyone know how quickly it starts working? I want to be prepared in case of an emergency. It is always reassuring to hear about others' experiences on the Internet, so share yours below!

Does anyone know if this is okay for kids? My little one has croup and I'm not sure if this is the right medication.
I felt super jittery after using it. Kind of like when you have too much caffeine. But it did help with my breathing so I can't complain too much.
I had trouble sleeping after using it. Not sure if it was the medication or the anxiety of the situation. Either way, it was a long night.
I've used it a few times and it has worked well for me. No major side effects either, just a bit of shakiness afterwards which was annoying but not a big deal.
I'm an ER nurse and we use this a lot. It's super effective but yeah, monitor for side effects. If you feel any chest pain or pressure, get help immediately. This is NOT a joke.
It worked great for my kid's croup. Started working within minutes. But yeah, the side effects list is scary. Keep an eye out for any issues.
I had a really bad reaction to it. Ended up with hives and trouble breathing. Scary stuff. Stick to your rescue inhaler if you can.
This medication is way better than other inhalers in my opinion. My family has been using it for fifty years. It does the job fast and efficient.
