I've been considering using Soluvita 0.5mg/ml fluoride drops for my child to help with dental health. Our drinking water doesn't have enough fluoride, and I want to make sure my kid's teeth are strong and resistant to cavities. I've read about the possible side effects, including severe allergic reactions and stomach upset, which is a bit scary. Does anyone have experience with this medication? How did it go? Any tips on administration or what to expect?

I've been using Soluvita. I was nervous about the side effects, but honestly, we haven't had any problems. My daughter actually likes the taste, which is a plus. We mix it with a little water and give it to her in a small cup.

We've been using Soluvita for a while now, and it's been great. My kid's teeth are stronger, and we haven't had any issues with cavities. Just make sure to follow the dosing instructions carefully. I measured out the drops first using a syringe before giving it to my toddler.

I've been using the drops for a year and a half, and my child has NO cavities, no upset stomach, and no allergic reactions. Feels pretty good to have this be an easy win for my kid's health!

We give it once a day, usually in the morning. It's become part of our routine, so it's not too much of a hassle. Just remember to shake the bottle well before use. This way, I don't need to worry about my daughters teeth when I bring them to the dentist!

I had to stop giving Soluvita to my kid because he kept spitting it out and would never swallow it. I have a huge amount left that is totally wasted. It's not cheap either!

How often do you guys give the drops? My kid is a bit fussy, so I'm wondering if it's worth the struggle. Is it only with some serious issues? This sounds like a lot of work for just stronger teeth.

I've heard that some kids can get an upset stomach from fluoride drops. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I've heard that some dental products like toothpaste contain fluoride—isn't that enough?
