I was recently prescribed Sotylize 5mg/ml Solution for an irregular heartbeat and I'm a bit worried. Anyone have experience with Sotalol? I'm curious about the side effects. Some of the urgent side effects listed seem scary. I really don't want to take this medication but I want to keep my heart healthy. I have a history of heart disease, and I have read that this medication can potentially worsen existing heart failure. Anyone else with a similar history who has taken this medication? I would love to hear about your experience.

Dizziness is definitely a thing. It's not terrible but it's tricky. I got it a lot but overtime it's gone down. I'm glad to be able to say that. At least for me, it's been helpful. I just learned to deal with it. Honestly, it's worth it.

I've been on Sotylize for about 6 months now and it's been a game-changer for my arrhythmias. The side effects were pretty mild for me—just some dizziness and fatigue at first, but those went away after a few weeks. Be aware though, if you have heart disease, consult your doctor before taking this medication.

I had no side effects for a while. I was taking it and it was great. Then suddenly I started getting chest pains and I freaked out. I went to the hospital and they told me it was probably a side effect. I haven't decided whether I'm going to keep using it. It's scary to me.

Be aware. I had to stop taking Sotalol after a few weeks. I started getting these weird visual changes and it was freaking me out. Went to the ER and they told me it was a side effect. I can't recommend this drug, it's not good.

I had shortness of breath and swelling in my legs. The doctor told me that it was a common symptom and that I should stop taking it. It was scary because I really want to take the medication so I can get better. I can't just stop taking it because I want to be cured.

I had a similar experience to the last guy. It was rough. I started taking Sotylize, and my vision started to get all blurry. I haven't experienced anything like that before and I had to stop taking it. I'm still unsure what to do now.

I really don't understand the seriousness of these side effects. It's supposed to be a life-saving drug or something right? I'm confused.
