Has anyone used Sumadan 9-4.5% Wash Liquid for acne or seborrheic dermatitis? Let's discuss results and side effects!
I've been struggling with acne for a while now and my dermatologist recommended Sumadan 9-4.5% Wash Liquid. It contains sulfur and sulfacetamide, which are supposed to help dry out the skin and stop bacterial growth. I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the rare but severe ones. Has anyone tried this before? How did it work for you? Were the side effects really that bad? I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences with this topical wash.

I've been using it for a month now and it's been great. No major side effects yet, just a bit of dryness. But my skin is so much clearer! I think it's worth it. I'm going to keep using it. I don't mind the smell, it smells kinda like sulfur.
Be careful with this stuff. I had a friend who had a severe reaction to it. He broke out in hives and his skin started peeling. It was really scary. I would definitely recommend talking to your doctor before using it. Make sure to tell all your doctors if you have a history of Lupus.
I've used it and it worked wonders for my acne. I had a bit of dry skin at first, but that went away. Just make sure to moisturize afterward!
I used it for a while and it worked okay, but I had to stop because it was making my skin too dry. The side effects were a bit too much for me. But I did see some improvement in my acne. You might want to try a different topical if you have sensitive skin.
I found it to be a bit harsh on my face. I've tried everything else so this was a bit of a last resort. It did clear up my acne, but my skin felt like it was on fire with the irritation. So I stopped using it. But it did clear up my skin, just made me miserable to use it. I would recommend it if you've tried everything else and it still doesn't work. The irritation is worth it to clear up the acne and the infection.
I tried it, but the smell was awful. I couldn't stand it so I stopped using it. But for those who can handle it, it did seem to clear up my skin a lot. Make sure you can smell this before you buy a bottle, it smells really strong and unique.
I had to stop using it because it made my skin really dry and irritated. I had a rash for days, it was awful. I would recommend a patch test. I found that using a hydrocortisone cream alongside it helped with the irritation, but it was too much for me. This was my first time using a sulfur product, so that might have been the reason for the rash. I didn't see anyone else mention a rash like this.
I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. I broke out in hives and my skin peeled off. I had to go to the ER. It was scary. I had no idea it could do that. I've never had a reaction like this before. I would be very cautious. I'm not sure if I would ever use this again.
