Has anyone used the Sancuso Transdermal System for chemo nausea? What was your experience like?
I was prescribed Sancuso for nausea during chemotherapy. It's a patch that's supposed to work by blocking serotonin. I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects? Was it worth it over other anti-nausea medications? I've been reading about the side effects and they seem a bit scary but I'm hoping the benefits outweigh the risks.

I switched to Sancuso after my doctor recommended it. It was a lifesaver! No more morning vomiting. I had diarrhea though and I felt really weak at times. Maybe it's worth the inconvenience though, given how well it works.
I used Sancuso and it was a horrible experience. I'm allergic to some plastics and it messed me up. I would never recommend it to anyone.
I've heard good things about it. I'm going to bring it up with my doctor at my next appointment.
I had some really bad side effects with it, but I heard a lot of people had success with it. Serotonin syndrome is really scary so be careful with it. I think the patch is convenient to wear, though. My body didn't react well to it.
I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the worst but I had no bad reactions. It was a bit pricey for me but my insurance covered most of it. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs it.
I'm currently using it and it's been okay so far no serious side effects. I have to remind myself to change it every week though, which can be tough when I'm not feeling well, but it's so much easier than taking a pill every hour.
