I was prescribed Tobradex ST 0.3/0.05% Opth Susp 5ml for an eye infection and was wondering if anyone else has used it. The prescription came with a long list of possible side effects, which made me a little nervous. Some of the urgent ones include allergic reactions, vision changes, and eyelid swelling. The other possible side effects are irritation and blurred vision. If you've had the same prescription or have any stories from using it, I'd love to hear about your experience.

I got this prescription last year. Initially, it was a bit scary due to the side effects, but I didn't experience any of the serious ones. Just a bit of eye irritation at first, which went away after a few days. Always good to call the doc if in doubt.

I used it for a bacterial infection, worked great! Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions.

I had no side effects at all, but my doctor was really insistent on calling if they started. If you have any concerns about side effects, you can report them to the FDA. It's a good idea to keep an eye on any issues and get advice from a professional. It's always reassuring to know there's a way to report it.

The blurred vision was pretty bad for me. Talked to my doc and switched to another medication. Maybe it didn't work out for me because I have some vision issues to begin with.

I had to use Tobradex ST for about a week. It took a while to get through my prescription, but it really helped clear up the infection. I did get some minor irritation, but it wasn't terrible. Its main use was to reduce the inflammation and swelling after they removed a foreign object from my eye.

Do not forget to inform your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms. I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction, and it turned out he was allergic to one of the compounds in the medication. Always better to be safe!
