Has anyone used Topicort 0.25% Cream for eczema or psoriasis? Share your experiences with side effects
I was prescribed Topicort 0.25% Cream 15gm for my eczema, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else used this cream? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially if you've had any side effects. The leaflet mentions some serious side effects like high blood sugar, Cushing's syndrome and adrenal gland problems. I'm wondering if they're common or rare. Also, I want a more realistic expectation of what the cream will do for me, what results should I expect if my skin is incredibly dry and itchy? Does it work wonders or is it just ok? I'd appreciate any advice or tips you have for dealing with eczema or psoriasis. Thanks!

I had an allergic reaction to Topicort – hives, swelling, the works. Definitely worth mentioning to your doctor if you experience anything like that.
I've been using Topicort for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my psoriasis. I did experience some burning and itching initially, but it went away after a week. No serious side effects so far.
I wish someone had told me about the Cushing's syndrome symptoms. I gained a ton of weight in my upper back and face, and it was scary. Definitely something to keep an eye on.
Be careful with this stuff, it's super strong. I used it on my face by accident and ended up with some serious thinning of the skin. That was a red flag for me.
Topicort helped with the itching, but it made my skin super thin and delicate. I had to stop using it and find something gentler.
Just a heads up, if you start feeling unusually tired or weak, it could be a sign of a weak adrenal gland. Definitely something to check in with your doctor about.
I had a weird reaction to it - my skin started growing hair in places it shouldn’t. Talk to your doc, I had to switch meds pretty quick.
I used Topicort for a while, and while it helped with the redness and itching, I didn't notice any serious side effects. It's all about moderation and listening to your body.
Topicort worked well for me, but I had to be really careful with it because my skin is sensitive. And honestly, it smells like crap. But nothing serious, so I guess it's worth it.
