Has anyone used Triamcinolone 0.025% Ointment for eczema? Share your experience!
I've been prescribed Triamcinolone 0.025% Ointment for my eczema flare-ups. The doctor mentioned it's a topical steroid that helps reduce redness, swelling, and itching. Has anyone else used this before? I'm curious to know about your experiences, especially with side effects. The list of possible side effects is pretty long, so I'm a bit nervous. Do any of you have tips on how to manage or avoid them? I've read a lot of horror stories online, and I don't want to end up with thinning skin or any of the other more serious side effects. I've been applying it for a week now and it seems to be helping, but I'm still hesitant.

Anyone else have issues with the smell? It's awful and lingering. Does this say how long you can use it?
I used this for a month and it worked wonders for my eczema, but it also made my skin very dry and irritated. I switched to a gentler cream and it's doing the trick so far
Did your doctor mention how long you can safely use this? Mine told me not to use it for more than two weeks at a time, but it seems to flare up again as soon as I stop.
Be careful with this stuff. I used it for a little too long and ended up with stretch marks. Docs didn't warn me about that. So sad!
I ended up getting these weird hives on my face after using the ointment. I stopped using it and they went away. Definitely talk to your doctor. What are the different types of topical steroids available?
I used it for a month and it worked wonders for my eczema. No side effects, but if things don't clear up, you'll need to see a doctor!
I've been using Triamcinolone for psoriasis for years. It's a lifesaver, but I've had to adjust my skincare routine a bit. Make sure to moisturize well and avoid harsh soaps. The thinning skin isn't pleasant, but managing it is possible. If you notice any changes, talk to your doctor immediately.
I've always struggled with steroid creams and never really got specific advice from my doc. Can anyone share their doctor's input? I'm curious to know specific recommendations that work. I've been using this for a while now and I think I'll keep going with it.
