I've been prescribed Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment for my eczema and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. I've seen it could cause things like Cushing's syndrome and skin thinning. I'm wondering if anyone else has used this and can share their experience. How long did it take to see results? Did you experience any side effects? If so, how did you manage them? I'd really appreciate any insights or advice. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks!

I had a bad reaction to this stuff too. I think i'm just more sensitive. My doctor suggested trying some other topicals, and I think I will try topical CBD next.

I was really scared of the side effects too, but my doctor assured me that if used correctly, the benefits outweigh the risks. I've been using it for a month and it's helped a lot with my eczema. No serious side effects so far, just a bit of dryness but it's manageable. Always patch test before applying to large areas.

Just a heads up, if you start feeling really shaky or dizzy, stop using it and call your doctor. My friend had a bad reaction and had to switch to a different topical cream.

Make sure you follow the prescription. I applied it more than I should have and ended up with some skin thinning. Doc had to adjust the dose.

I used it for a while and it worked great, but I had to stop because it made my skin super thin and I kept getting these weird stretch marks. It was a bummer because it was really helping with my eczema.

My daughter has eczema and we use this ointment when her skin gets really bad. It helps calm down the flare-ups quickly. We just have to be careful not to overuse it. I have heard that if you are using this medication for a long time to talk to your doctor about tapering off or rotating with different types of topicals.

Anyone know if this stuff is safe to use while pregnant? I've had eczema for years and it's flaring up again.

I used it for psoriasis and it worked wonders! Took about 2 weeks to see a difference but my skin is so much better now. No major side effects here.
