Has anyone used Triamcinolon/orabas 0.1% Dent-Paste for mouth sores? What was your experience?
I've been prescribed Triamcinolon/orabas 0.1% Dent-Paste for some persistent mouth ulcers and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Specifically, I'm curious about how long it took to see improvement and if anyone experienced any of the more serious side effects listed. I've used this stuff before and it worked like a charm. Took about a week to see significant improvement in my canker sores. Just make sure to follow the instructions and don't overuse it.
This stuff is a godsend. I got a horrible case of thrush from antibiotics and my doctor prescribed this. It cleared it right up and did not irritate my mouth.
I just started using it and I'm not seeing any results yet. How long did it take for others to see improvement? I've been using it for three days now and I don't feel any different.
Be careful with steroid treatments and I would caution anyone to look into known side effects before using it, I got a bad reaction to it and had to stop using it.
I had a really bad experience with this. I started getting these awful hives around my mouth and had to go to the ER. Turns out I was allergic to one of the ingredients. If you start reacting badly, don't wait it out—get to a doctor right away.
