Has anyone used Ultrasal-ER Topical Solution for warts, corns, or calluses? What was your experience like?
I recently started using Ultrasal-ER Topical Solution to treat some stubborn warts on my hands. The solution contains salicylic acid, which is supposed to soften and dissolve the tough outer layer of skin. I've been applying it nightly before bed, and I've noticed some improvement, but it's been a bit of a journey so far.
I've had some mild skin irritation, as the bottle says is possible. My skin gets a bit dry and flaky, and sometimes it stings when I first put it on. I'm trying to keep the area moisturized and clean to help with this.
I'm just curious to see if anyone else has used this and had similar experiences. I'm also curious to see if anyone has had any of the more serious side effects mentioned in the warning. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something that could be dangerous.
How long did it take for you to see results? Did you have any side effects? Do you have any tips for using the solution effectively? Is it worth it in the end?
Just a heads up to anyone considering this treatment. It's way cheaper than going to a dermatologist, but it takes a bit of patience and diligence. Also, this stuff is super messy and smells terrible, so be ready for that!

I've had great results with this stuff. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully. I used it to get rid of a plantar's wart, and it worked like a charm. Also, use a pumice stone after the area softens to exfoliate and remove the dead skin. I did have some minor skin irritation, but it was worth it. I also made sure to apply a moisturizer around the area. I will say that the first time I used it, I applied too much, and I got some of the solution on my good skin, and it definitely stung. But once you get the hang of it, it's really not too bad. It's definitely worth a try, but do be patient. It takes a while to work. Just make sure to wash your hands really well after applying it. This stuff can be dangerous if it gets in your eyes or mouth, so be careful. Also, if you have any cuts or exposed skin nearby, be careful not to get it on that either. It will definitely burn.
I've used it for corns, and it worked perfectly. But I didn't notice the skin irritation like other people mention. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and it should be fine.
I've used it for warts, and it worked perfectly. Just be prepared for the smell. It's terrible, but I only have to use it at night, so it's not too bad.
I've had really good results with it. I use it for calluses.
