I've been feeling tired and run down lately, and my doctor suggested I might be vitamin D deficient. I've been prescribed Vitamin D3 10,000 IU Capsules to take weekly. Has anyone else had experience with this dosage? I want to make sure I know what I'm getting myself into. How long did it take to see improvements? Also, I have a friend who swears she felt jittery after taking them. Does this happen? I just want to make sure I am correctly addressing my vitamin d deficiencies. I’m also curious about the side effects and if anyone has an experience with those. I did my research on the FDA website, but I’d love to hear it from real people, too. Thanks!

I take the 5k ones. They work great. 10k might be too much to start off with but if you have a deficiency they might be what you need. Good luck!

I had a bad allergic reaction to these. I had to stop taking them. But everyone is different, and I know people who take them all the time and are fine.

I've been taking them for a year now. My doctor has had me on weekly and now only every other week. I haven't had any issues. They have helped a lot with my energy and bone health. Definitely worth it.

Anyone know if these are safe for kids? I think my son might be deficient but I am so nervous to give this to him.

I've been on 10,000 IU caps for a month now and I've felt a lot more energized. I took them weekly for the first 4 weeks. It took me a few weeks but now I feel great. My doctor recommended I take them once a month after my initial dose because I was very deficient. Just make sure you consult a doctor to see when they suggest you stop.

I take them and I've never had any side issues and I feel great. If you're deficient they are great to help with that.

It's important to get your levels checked regularly. Too much vitamin D can be just as bad as too little.
