Has anyone used Vosol 2% Otic Solution for swimmer's ear? How did it work for you?
I've been dealing with swimmer's ear for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Vosol 2% Otic Solution. It's an acetic acid otic solution that's supposed to make the ear canal more acidic to stop bacterial and fungal growth. Has anyone else used this? I'm curious about your experiences, especially any side effects you might have encountered. The packaging warns about some serious side effects like allergic reactions and ear irritation, but I'm hoping it won't be too bad. I'd appreciate any advice or insights!

I tried this once, my doctor thought it was for another condition as my ear was so inflamed. I ended up with hives everywhere. Gave me a lot of trouble.
I used this a few years ago and it worked wonders for me. No major side effects, just a bit of stinging at first.
I had to stop using it because it made my ear burn like crazy. Maybe it's not for everyone.
I got some temporary relief, but the infection kept coming back. Might need a different treatment.
I had a really bad reaction to it. My ear got super irritated and I ended up in the ER. Be careful!
