I've recently been prescribed Westcort 0.2% Cream for my eczema. I've heard it can be really effective, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the more severe ones. Has anyone else had to deal with high blood sugar, allergic reactions or any of the other side effects discussed on the leaflet? I'm especially curious about how common the burning or stinging sensations are. Any advice or anecdotes would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

I have no idea if it will even work for me. I just got prescribed it and I'm trying to do some research before I start using it. Anyone here have a success story to share?

I had a bad reaction to it—got hives all over. Went to the ER and they told me to stop using it immediately. Everyone's different, so definitely be cautious.

I've used it occasionally and it works well, but I always worry about the potential for Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone else thought about that?

I think it's great for short-term use, but I've noticed that if I use it for too long, my skin starts to feel really dry. I switched to a moisturizer after a few weeks and that helped a lot.

I've been using it for a while now and it's been a lifesaver for my eczema. No major side effects except for a bit of stinging at first, but that went away quickly.
