Has anyone used Ziana Gel for acne treatment? Share your experiences!
I've been struggling with acne for a while and my dermatologist prescribed Ziana Gel. It contains clindamycin and tretinoin, which sounds promising. I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone here used it? What was your experience like? I had some gnarly dryness and irritation when I first started using it, but it went away after a couple of weeks. Stick with it, it's worth it!
I had a terrible time with it. The gel made my face incredibly dry and I had a lot of redness in the first few weeks. Plus, I had some trouble breathing in the middle of the night and went to the ER 2 weeks in
I don't understand why this isn't more popular. It has worked well for me.
I think it's worth trying, but honestly there are a lot of other things to consider. It can cause bad side effects and long-term use might not be the best idea.
I was using it religiously for 3 weeks and I had what felt like a stomach bug every day. Please be aware, it can make diarrhea a regular thing.
This comment is a joke. Watch out everyone, you're all just a prescription away from becoming a Ziana Gel zombie. But in all seriousness, it was really helpful. I got some dryness and peeling, but it went away eventually.
Before using it, I had a lot of questions. Should I use it with a moisturizer? Should I use a night cream too? If anyone has an answer, please let me know
I had no side effects at all! But seriously—it really depends on the person. I did use this only for a month though, couldn't really take it all of the time.
I've used it twice a day for 2 months and it finally cleared up and stopped my acne
I used Ziana Gel for a few months and it worked wonders on my acne. Just be patient and consistent with it. The side effects were minimal for me—just some initial dryness.
