I was just prescribed some Quflora Pediatric 0.5mg Chew Tabs for my kid. The doctor mentioned that it provides essential vitamins and minerals, along with fluoride to help strengthen teeth. I'm curious if anyone has used it and noticed any of the potential side effects. Side effects can be scary and I am wondering how common is it to experience them. Mine just started taking this yesterday, and I've noticed a few things that I'm not sure about. I want to make sure I'm not overreacting.

This medication is recommended for children of all ages. If your child is older, I would call a doctor before starting this. I have friends who have had to stop giving their child this after they developed an allergy. It’s scary but it sped up their visit to the pediatrician.

The chew tab is super tasty, but I always have to remember to tell my child to brush his teeth after he eats one. My kid has a love for candy, so anything that is advertised as yummy sounds great to him.

My kid has been taking them for a few months now and hasn't had any issues. But I did notice a slight change in their teeth color, so I mentioned it to the doctor and they said it was normal. I should have asked for more detail, but I trust the doctor.

My pediatrician recommended stopping Quflora when our son was around 6 months old because he has a higher fluoride level from our area's water. You might want to check this with a pediatrician or local health department.

We started using the chew tabs a few months ago and the first thing that happened was my daughter got a pretty bad rash. It stopped when we stopped giving her the medication. I wouldn't say it's a huge impact, but if your kid has sensitive skin, you might want to talk to a doctor about this before starting.

You might want to keep an eye out for any allergic reactions. My cousin's kid had a really bad reaction to a similar medication, so better safe than sorry!.

I've heard that some kids can get upset stomachs from these. If yours starts feeling sick, you might want to talk to the pediatrician about it. It's always good to be prepared and give them a call if you are unsure.

I've been giving mine since they were 6 months. They are 5 years old now and they love them. I guess they are not allergic to it, but i would still be aware of any changes in her mouth or teeth. The doctor told me to keep an eye out.

I'm just glad this stuff is ok for kids. Vitamin supplements for my children are hard because so many of them are not recommended for children under a certain age, but it’s good to know that this is safe and easy for my child to take.
