I've been prescribed Kadian for my ongoing pain management, and I'm curious about other people's experiences with this medication. Kadian is designed to release medicine slowly over time, providing long-lasting pain relief for severe, ongoing pain that can't be managed by other pain medicines. So far, it's been helpful, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the serious ones like serum syndrome and breathing issues. Has anyone had any issues or scary side effects like these? I do experience the more common side effects like dizziness and drowsiness, but I've heard that even mild ones can potentially get worse or become more severe. How can I tell what's just a minor side effect and what's actually serious? I'm worried about the prescribed dose and potentially trying to go up or down. I'm also wondering about interactions with other medications. I know it's important to consult with my doctor, but I want to hear from people who are going through the same thing. Let's discuss.

I've been on Kadian for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my chronic pain. Yes, the side effects can be tough at first, but my doctor helped me manage them. Just keep an eye out for anything unusual and talk to your doctor regularly. I've had some dizziness, but it's worth it for the relief.

Addiction is a real concern, but if you follow your doctor's instructions and don't increase your dose without medical supervision, you should be okay. It's all about communication with your healthcare provider. And honestly, some people don't like to admit it, but it can be a real lifesaver for those of us who really need it. Been on it for a year and I've never felt better.

Kadian saved my life, literally. After a car accident, I was in constant pain. Other meds didn't work, but Kadian did. Just be aware of the side effects and communicate with your doctor. Also, if you have any other medications, make sure to check for interactions. I had to switch out a few things because of potential issues.

I've had some weird side effects like tingling in my hands and feet. Anyone else experience that? It's not too bad, but it's a bit scary.
