Diltiazem CD is a calcium channel blocker commonly prescribed for high blood pressure and angina. Overall, many people tolerate it well, but some experience side effects ranging from mild to severe. What has your experience been with Diltiazem CD? Have you noticed any of the more serious side effects like severe skin reactions or changes in heart rate? Any tips for managing common side effects like headaches or dizziness? Are there any alternatives you've found to work better?

I've been on Diltiazem CD for a few months now, and honestly, it's been a mixed bag. It definitely helps with my blood pressure, but I've had some annoying side effects like headaches and dizziness. Drinking plenty of water and eating small, frequent meals has helped a bit, but it can still be tough at times. I'm wondering if anyone else has found any good ways to manage these symptoms. My doctor said there might not be much we can do, but it would be great to hear other people's experiences.

Has anyone else noticed that Diltiazem makes you go to the bathroom a lot? I've been feeling like I need to go every few hours. It's kind of annoying, but I guess it's better than the alternative. If you are in a meeting at work, run for the hills.

I've had some pretty bad reactions to this medication. My skin got all swollen and blotchy, and it was so itchy that it kept me up all night. I finally went to the emergency room, and they told me I was having an allergic reaction. Now I'm on a different medication that seems to work just as well without the crazy side effects.

I've been on Diltiazem CD for a while and haven't had any major issues. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. I think the key is to give your body time to adjust to the medication. Just make sure to talk to your doctor if you notice anything out of the ordinary.
