I've been prescribed Flovent HFA 44mcg Oral Inh 120inh for my asthma, and while it's helped control my symptoms, I'm a bit worried about the potential severe side effects listed. Has anyone else had any issues with this medication? I'm particularly concerned about the signs of an allergic reaction and respiratory emergencies. How do you deal with the possibility of such severe reactions? I know it's supposed to help prevent asthma attacks, but the thought of these side effects is making me anxious. Has anyone experienced any of the less severe side effects like a common cold or throat irritation? What did you do to manage them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on Flovent for years and haven't had any major issues. Just the occasional sore throat. Always keep your rescue inhaler handy, just in case!

I experienced a mild rash when I first started using it. Doctor said it was an allergic reaction and switched me to a different medication. It's important to pay attention to your body.

I've heard some people say it causes weight gain. Anyone else experience this?

I've had some trouble with mouth irritation. My doctor suggested rinsing my mouth after using the inhaler. It helped a lot.

I had a bit of a panic attack the first time I read the side effects list. My doctor reassured me that serious reactions are rare. Just be aware and you'll be fine.

I've noticed some changes in my voice. It's not too bad, but it's noticeable. Anyone else have this issue? Do you know if it gets better?

I think it's important to remember that everyone reacts differently to medication. What's severe for one person might be mild for another. If you have concerns, talk to your doctor.

I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction. It was scary, but luckily they got help in time. Always better to be safe and know the signs, I guess.
