I recently got my first dose of the Heplisav-B vaccine. I'm 30 years old and figured it was about time to get protected against Hepatitis B. The vaccine was surprisingly easy to get as it only requires two shots one month apart. I had a minor headache afterwards, but nothing compared to the flu shot I got last year. I'm curious though, has anyone else had any side effects? Did you get the second shot without any issues?

I got mine a few months back and had no issues at all. The injection site was a bit sore but nothing I couldn't handle. I recommend it.

Getting the vaccines is so important, but be sure to report any side effects you experience if any.

This is my second time getting the vaccine. The first time, I had a pretty severe allergic reaction. Be sure to get it in a medical setting, not just a clinic.

Got mine a month ago and felt a dulled sensation at the injection site. My arm was sore for a while, but it went away after a day. If you are considering, go for it! Also, it’s great to hear that it only requires two shots. Have you had any other vaccinations recently?

I'm really glad to hear you're doing well so far. I know someone who got Hepatitis B and it was a nightmare. Definitely worth getting the vaccine! I recommend setting a reminder for your second shot.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well! I am immunocompromised and got Heplisav-B shots last year. I had a mild fever afterwards but it wasn't serious, but I am glad I got vaccinated. For everyone planning to get it, make sure you have allergy meds on standby just in case.
