For those of us fighting breast or stomach cancer with too much HER2, Hercessi 420mg MdV Inj., or Trastuzumab, might be in our treatment plan. It's an injection targeting HER2 protein to slow cancer growth. But what side effects should we watch out for, and how can we manage them? Let's discuss everything, from allergic reactions to tumor lysis syndrome, and support each other through this journey.

Take it seriously. 😟 It feels like the side effects are a good indicator that the drug is doing it's job. But don't let that cloud the reality that this is a harder time for you than where you went in.

Stay strong, everyone. I've been on this for six months. The side effects were tough at first, but they've eased up. Just remember to communicate with your medical team.

I've had some stomach pain and nausea, but my oncologist gave me some meds to manage it. It's not fun, but at least it's something we can control.

It's hard for everyone to detail side effects before experiencing it, it's a dark time for sure, but it's a chance to get better.

I had a severe allergic reaction during my first infusion. Swelling, hives, the works. If you feel any of those symptoms, don't hesitate to speak up. They stopped the infusion and gave me something to counteract it.

I've been really struggling with depression since starting this treatment. It's been a dark time for me, and I think it’s because of this treatment. Has anyone else experienced this? It's tough to know if it's the treatment or just the stress of everything. I never knew this could be a side effect, it’s not in the top things listed, and we all forget how stressful cancer really is.

I've had some weird numbness and tingling in my fingers. Is that normal?
