I'm scheduled for a procedure and my doctor recommended Bupivacaine with Epinephrine 0.25% Inj, 50ml for local anesthesia. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What was your experience? Did you find that the numbing effect lasted as long as expected? Were there any side effects that you encountered that you think I should be aware of? What was the recovery like? Any tips on managing the side effects?

Just be prepared for a longer recovery time. I've had it and my arm was numb for hours after. I feel like the procedure itself went smoothly, but recovery can be a hassle.

I had a nerve block with this and it was good to go. I didn't experience any side effects other than a bit of numbness for a few hours afterward.

My friend had a similar procedure and had no issues what-so-ever. He said it was a seamless process. Now I am not sure if I am overreacting or not.

I've had this before for a corneal surgery and it was fantastic. The numbing lasted for hours and the bleeding was minimised. I didn't experience any significant side effects, but I did have a bit of a headache for a few hours afterward.

This is a good combination for longer procedures. The epinephrine really helps to extend the numbing effect, which is great for surgeries or procedures that last more than an hour.

Be prepared for some potential skin reactions at the injection site. I had some redness and swelling, but it went away within a day. Make sure to ask your doctor about what to do if you experience any skin changes.

Want to know how to manage the tingling in the mouth? I had that and spoke with a nurse afterwards who recommended some herbal tea and an ice pack. It cleared it up quicker than I expected.

I had a bad experience with this. I felt extremely hot and then had a severe headache and started feeling extremely tired. Had to go to the ER. I never want to go through that again.
