I've been prescribed 40mg Atomoxetine for my ADHD. Has anyone here had experience with Atomoxetine 40mg for ADHD, and if so, how effective has it been? What side effects did you experience, and how did you manage them?

I've read that some people take it and it makes a huge difference, but others don't see any changes. Is this a common theme?

Also, what are the most common side effects? Does anyone have any tips for managing them? I did some research on my own, but I'm curious to hear firsthand experiences.

I found Atomoxetine to be a game-changer for my ADHD. It helped me focus better and reduced my impulsivity. The side effects were manageable—mostly just some headaches and stomach issues. I took it with food and that helped a lot.

I've heard it can mess with your sleep. I don't have any experience with it but a friend told me he felt super dizzy when he tried it and stayed up for a week. He was taking it in the evening but got it adjusted.

I started on 40 mg and it was way too much for me. I had to go down to 20 mg. Side effects are annoying but I found that cutting my dose in half helped a lot. I also had liver problems but I am ok now. Definitely talk to your doctor about adjusting your dose if you experience severe side effects like I did. If you have a history of liver issues, don't be afraid to give them a heads-up.

I've been on Atomoxetine for about 6 months now. It's made a significant difference in my focus and impulse control. The side effects were a bit rough at first—mainly trouble sleeping and dizziness—but they've eased off. I found that taking it earlier in the day helped with the sleep issues.

I was sceptical about Atomoxetine, but it has been a lifesaver for me. I had a lot of resistance at first because I did not want to take a pill at all but I'm glad I did.

I was on it for a while but had to stop due to the sexual side effects, although honestly it went away after I stopped taking it. Definitely talk to your doctor if you notice anything weird down there.

Atomoxetine helped my son tremendously. He was so hyperactive before, but now he's more focused in school and at home. He had some stomach issues at first, but his doctor adjusted his dose and he's been fine since. If it does not work out for you I know Ritalin and Adderall are two other common ones. If I recall correctly they need to be taken in the morning as they stay in your system for 8 hours.

I have to ask this, because it's super important, I guess: What do I do if I have an erection for longer than four hours? Is this actually a thing that can happen to you? I'm kinda freaking out.
