I've been experiencing significant muscle weakness lately, and my doctor prescribed Levocarnitine 1g/10ml U/d Oral Solution. I've read that it helps the body turn fats into energy, but I'm curious to hear from anyone who has used this medication. How effective is it for muscle weakness? Has anyone experienced noticeable improvements? Also, what are the common side effects, and how severe are they? I'm particularly concerned about the urgent side effects like seizures and muscle weakness, which seem counterintuitive given the condition. Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Interesting thread! I wonder if Levocarnitine could help with weight management too, since it helps the body use fat for energy. Anyone tried it for that purpose?

Definitely report any side effects to your doctor. I had some weird symptoms and my doctor adjusted my dosage and it was a breeze after that.

I was really hesitant to start this medication because of the potential side effects, especially the seizures. But my doctor assured me that it's rare and to monitor for signs of an allergic reaction which can also indicate a more serious issue. So far, so good for me.

Has anyone tried combining Levocarnitine with other supplements or treatments? I'm curious if there are any synergies or if it's better to take it on its own. I've also noticed my body odor changing. Is this a side effect anyone else has experienced?
