I've been struggling with eczema for years and have tried various treatments with little success. My doctor recently prescribed Pimecrolimus 1% cream, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How effective has it been for you? What side effects did you experience, if any? I've read about potential serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Any tips for managing the treatment would be greatly appreciated.

I had a lot of burning, stinging, and soreness started using Pimecrolimus. I couldn't stand it and stopped after just a few days. My doctor told me that it's common in the first few days, but I just couldn't deal with it.

Did anyone else get a weird rash? I started Pimecrolimus and got a rash that I swear didn't come from my eczema. Even used some hydrocortisone on it, and it was still there! Maybe it'll pass, but I'm a bit worried.

My doctor told me to be very careful as some people have really bad reactions. I went through all of the potential infections and other symptoms. Like it said, if you start to feel weird, stop taking it right away.

I've had great success with this cream, but I did have some local skin reactions. My skin was really sensitive to it at first, but after a few weeks, it got better. The cream has really helped with the redness and inflammation. Just be patient with it, and I think you'll see improvements.

I've experienced some shortness of breath and night sweats since starting Pimecrolimus, but my doctor says these are rare and not necessarily caused by the cream. What should I do? Should I stop using it?

I've used Pimecrolimus before and found that it worked well for me. The thing to keep in mind is that it can take a while to see the full effects—usually around 2-4 weeks. Stick with it, and you might see some real improvements.

I think I will give it a shot. I have had really severe eczema for a few years now, and it would be nice to have some relief.

I've been using Pimecrolimus for about six months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. My eczema has significantly improved, and the itching has almost disappeared. The side effects were minimal—just some initial burning and stinging, but that went away after the first week. Highly recommend giving it a try if your doctor suggests it.

I was worried about the serious side effects too, but my doctor assured me that they are very rare. I've been using it for a month now and haven't had any issues. Just remember to apply it thinly and avoid direct sunlight.
