I've been prescribed Salagen 5mg tablets to help with the severe dry mouth I've been experiencing due to Sjogren's syndrome. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How effective has it been for you? Did you notice any significant improvement in your saliva production? I'm also interested in knowing about any side effects you may have experienced and how you managed them. My doctor mentioned that it could cause dizziness and stomach upset, but I'm hoping to get some real-world insights before I start my treatment. Has anyone found any tips or tricks to maximize the benefits of Salagen? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I switched to Salagen after trying a bunch of other remedies, and it's been a game-changer. I do get some stomach upset, but it's worth it for the relief it brings. Just make sure to take it with food and drink plenty of water.

Be prepared for the excessive sweating. I thought I was going to drip all day long. But it did help with the dry mouth. Maybe try starting with half a tablet to see how you react.

I've been on Salagen for about six months now, and it's made a huge difference in my daily life. My mouth isn't perfectly moist, but it's a significant improvement from before. The dizziness was an issue at first, but it subsided after a few weeks. Hang in there, it gets better!

You might want to avoid caffeine while on Salagen. It can make the side effects worse. I wish my doctor had told me that from the start!

Salagen has been a lifesaver for me. I had to stop taking it for a bit because of some other health issues, and the dry mouth came roaring back. It's definitely a medication worth sticking with if you can tolerate the side effects.

I've been on Salagen for a while now, and I've noticed that my eyes get really watery sometimes. Anyone else experience this? It's a bit annoying, but not nearly as bad as the dry mouth.

I've heard some people say that Salagen helps with dry eyes as well. Has anyone else noticed this?

I didn't notice much improvement with Salagen. I tried it for a month, but I still had severe dryness. My doctor suggested switching to a different medication, and I'm currently waiting to see if it works better for me. Keep in mind that not everyone responds the same way, especially considering the severity of symptoms.

I take half a tablet in the morning and half at night. It helps with the side effects and still keeps my mouth pretty moist. Maybe try that if you're having trouble?

I had a pretty severe reaction to Salagen. I woke up one morning with my heart racing and feeling like I couldn't catch my breath. Turns out, it was a side effect of the medication. If you start feeling anything unusual, don't hesitate to call your doctor.
