Synalar 0.025% Ointment is a topical medication that helps reduce redness, swelling, and inflammation in people with skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and other similar ailments. It's a corticosteroid cream that works by reducing the immune response in the skin. However, many users report side effects, such as burning and stinging; and some even experience rarer but severe side effects. I'm interested in hearing from users who have tried Synalar and wanted to compile their experiences, tips & tricks, and any concerns they have regarding side effects.

I had a bad reaction to Synalar. Within hours my skin became red and swollen. I stopped using it and it took a week for my skin to calm down. I think it was too strong for me. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Synalar has been a lifesaver for my eczema. I have really sensitive skin but I found that it didn’t cause me any issues. I’m using it regularly and have had no problems so far.

I used this cream and the skin irritation improved, but I had a bad reaction and the doctor said I it could be an allergic reaction. It's worth getting medical advice before trying a new cream.

I’ve had good experiences with Synalar. I recommend using a thinner layer than you think you need. It's easy to overdo it and it works better if you give your skin a chance to recover between applications. I never apply it on my face!

When I first started using Synalar for my eczema, getting prescribed this was a bit of a blessing and a curse. It definitely helped with flares but I did experience some mild side effects after 2 weeks. I tried to find a way to apply it only once a day, at night, to reduce contact and my skin has been doing okay. Just be cautious if you’re trying it out for the first time.

This ointment stings like crazy when I apply it. Anyone else experience this?

I’ve been using Synalar for my psoriasis for a while now but I can't see any noticeable improvement in my condition.

Be careful with this stuff, my skin blistered badly from using it.

I never thought I would find a top ointment that works for my psoriasis, and I haven't found anything else that works as well as Synalar. But I've been using it for months now and I'm a bit concerned about the long-term effects. Has anyone else looked into this?
