I was recently prescribed Terconazole 80mg Vaginal Suppositories to treat a stubborn yeast infection. I've tried other treatments in the past, but they haven't been very effective. Has anyone else had success with Terconazole? I'm curious to hear about your experiences, especially if you've had any side effects. The packaging lists some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Any advice on how to minimize discomfort during application would be appreciated as well! How long does it typically take to see results?

Terconazole is a strong antifungal, so it should definitely help. I recommend using it at night before bed so you can lie down and let it work without any disruption. Make sure to avoid sex and douching while using it.

Does anyone know if you can drink alcohol while using Terconazole? I couldn't find anything specific about it in the instructions.

I didn't have any serious side effects, but the suppository did make things a bit messy. Wearing a panty liner helped a lot. Just a heads up to anyone who might be dealing with that issue.

I used Terconazole a few years ago and it worked great for me. No side effects at all, but I did have some discomfort when inserting the suppository. Just take it slow and relax. It might sting a bit, but it's worth it if it gets rid of the infection.

I've only had mild side effects like headache and period pain, but the infection cleared right up. I had to use it for a week, but it did the job. Try not to worry too much about the serious side effects unless you actually experience them – the chance is really low. Always better to be cautious though.

I used it once and I swore never to touch it again. The irritation was unbearable. I would recommend talking to your doctor about alternative options if you can.

I'm an OB/GYN and I prescribe Terconazole all the time. It's very effective, but like any medication, it can have side effects. Just follow the instructions carefully and call your doctor if you have any concerns. It’s not fun to deal with but it will get better.

I had a yeast infection last year and my doctor prescribed Terconazole. I was really nervous about the side effects, but I didn't have any issues at all. Just make sure to use it as directed and you should be fine. It worked for me in a week.
