I've been prescribed Timolol 0.5% eye drops to manage my glaucoma, and I'm curious to hear from others who use this medication. How has it worked for you? Have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any long-term effects or improvements in eye pressure. Additionally, what are your thoughts on the convenience of using this eye drop? Do you have any tips for administration that have worked well for you? I'd love to hear your stories and advice!

I feel like Timolol has been a good medication for me and I’m learning to live with the slight burning and stinging. I have a friend who uses a different generic with fewer side effects, but I think he has it easier because he's younger and takes a different formula.

I just started Timolol a few weeks ago after my doctor diagnosed me with glaucoma. I've had a bit of burning and stinging, but nothing too bad. I'm hoping it keeps my eye pressure in check!

I've been using Timolol for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for managing my eye pressure. The drops are easy to use, and I haven't had any major side effects—just a bit of stinging at first. Make sure to keep them refrigerated if you can, it helps with the stinging.

I've heard of heart problems being a side effect, has anyone had that? I have an older relative who's on it and I'm a bit worried.

I've always heard that glaucoma treatment requires medication that you take for the long term, so I'm not surprised to hear about others using Timolol.

I take Timolol for glaucoma and I've noticed my dry eyes have gotten worse. Make sure you have artificial tears on hand to help with that. I've also had a few episodes of dizziness, but my doctor said it's a known side effect and to just be careful when standing up.

I had a friend who had to take some sort of medication. They had some side effects, but it was way worse than what you're experiencing. It seems like it's worth it for you if the glaucoma is under control, since the side effects are manageable.
