How to Prevent Mac Mini from Sleeping: Keeping it Awake 24/7

I recently got a Mac Mini and I want to keep it alive constantly because it serves as a media server and I need it to be on all the time. However, it keeps going to sleep. I've checked the energy saver settings but it still goes to sleep. Are there any Terminal commands, settings or apps that will keep it awake?

I've also tried using Caffeine app but it doesn't seem to work well for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same issue but I tried using the 'Amphetamine' app and it worked perfectly for me. It's a free app and I'm not sure why it wasn't in the comments but it can keep your Mac awake indefinitely or for a specific amount of time.

Have you tried using the command 'caffeinate' in the terminal? It's a built-in command that can keep your Mac awake. Just open Terminal and type 'caffeinate -i' to keep it awake indefinitely.

If something keeps waking my computer, I just disable it on the taskbar at the top. Maybe something you installed is triggering it to wake up.

I don't think the energy saver settings work for Mac Mini's because they are designed to have the least amount of power consumption.
