I've been using the Humalog Tempo Pen 100u/ml Inj 3ml for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer in managing my diabetes. This fast-acting insulin starts working within 15-30 minutes, which is perfect for lowering my blood sugar after meals. I've had to be careful with the dosage, as it can cause low blood sugar if not managed properly. I've also noticed some minor side effects like irritation at the injection site, but nothing too serious. Overall, it's been a positive experience. I'm curious to hear from others who use this pen and their tips for managing side effects and dosage.

I love the Tempo Pen, but it does leave a bit of soreness at the injection site. Any tips for that?

I've found that rotating injection sites helps a lot with the soreness. Also, make sure you're injecting at a 90-degree angle and not pushing the pen in too quickly. I've noticed a big difference since I started doing that.

I had a bad allergic reaction to this pen once. It was terrifying. I ended up in the ER with hives and trouble breathing. Now I carry an EpiPen with me just in case. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, go to the hospital immediately.

I've been on Humalog for years and the Tempo Pen is a lifesaver. It's so convenient and easy to use. The only downside is the cost, but it's worth it for the peace of mind. I've had some issues with low potassium levels, so I make sure to eat potassium-rich foods and keep an eye on my electrolytes.

Does anyone else get the flu-like symptoms?
