I've been struggling with finding the right medication for my Crohn's disease, and my doctor recently prescribed the Humira Ped Cro Strt Kit (2 Prf Syr). I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions and infections. Has anyone had experience with this medication? How did it go for you? What should I be most aware of?

I've been on Humira for about 6 months now. I had some initial side effects like headache and upset stomach, but they went away after a few weeks. My Crohn's is under control, so I'm happy with it so far.

Be careful, Humira can be tough on the immune system. I had a bad infection last year and it was a nightmare.

People who think Humira is all sunshine and rainbows need to read the side effects list. My wife nearly died from a heart attack. What are we supposed to do? Ignore warning signs? She's at least been careful to avoid crowded places to avoid potential infections, since her immune system is so weak.

Interesting, I'd heard mixed things about Humira but I'll definitely have to talk to my doctor about it.

I was really nervous about the side effects too, but my doctor walked me through them. Make sure you talk to your doctor about any concerns you have.

My friend got Humira and they were totally fine. But if you do get serious side effects, go to the hospital immediately. No point in risking it.

I switched to Humira from another biologic and it's been night and day. My Crohn's symptoms are so much better managed. The key is to stay on top of your blood work and regular check-ups.

Humira truly changed my life. I went from constant pain and fatigue to being able to live a relatively normal life. The injections are a bit of a hassle, but the relief is worth it.
