I've been prescribed Hydrocodone ER 20mg Tablets for chronic pain, and I'm seeing a lot of conflicting info about the benefits vs risks. For those who've had experience with these pills, how does the extended-release feature work in practice? Do you feel like you get 24 hours of relief with just one dose? On the flip side, I'm nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone here had any of these issues? I also noticed it can lower sex drive and cause fertility problems. I'm young and don't want to mess that up. I'd love to hear from anyone who's dealt with these problems. I'm trying to balance getting relief from the pain and not screwing up my life in other ways. Thoughts?

I had no idea it could cause such serious side effects. I think I'll pass on this one and look for something else. Has anyone tried any alternative pain management techniques?

Wow, that's scary about the fertility stuff. I had no idea. I'm also really concerned about the addiction potential.

I had a bad reaction to Hydrocodone ER. I experienced severe dizziness, confusion, and even had a seizure. It was terrifying. I ended up in the ER and was told to never take it again.

I've been on Hydrocodone ER for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my chronic back pain. The extended-release really does work – I only need to take it once a day, which is so much easier than dealing with immediate-release meds every 4-6 hours. As for side effects, I've had some dizziness and constipation, but nothing too severe. Make sure to stay hydrated and talk to your doctor about stool softeners.

I had a friend who overdosed on these. Be careful, people. If you're considering this, please weigh the pros and cons carefully and make sure you're monitored closely.

I've been on Hydrocodone ER for a while, and it's been a lifesaver. I've had some side effects, but nothing too bad. I've had some serious issues with mood changes and memory loss. It's been really tough, and I'm considering switching to something else. But the pain relief is undeniable. It's a tough balance.
