Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-300 Tb is a combination pain reliever prescribed to me for my severe back pain. I started taking it and noticed a significant reduction in pain, but I also experienced some side effects. I want to share my experience and hear from others who have taken this medication. What side effects did you encounter, and how did you manage them? I’ve heard horror stories about opioid side effects and am curious about others' experiences. Also curious about the long-term effects and any tips for minimizing side effects. Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!

It's always a balance with these meds. I found that taking the medication with food helped reduce the stomach pain. Also, staying hydrated was a big help.

I had to stop taking this medication because of severe constipation. The worst part was feeling so weak and tired all the time. It was a relief when I could switch to something else that worked better for me.

I've been on this for a few weeks and the headache is unbearable. I've tried everything but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

I wish more people would talk about the long-term side effects. I've been on this medication for over a year and now I'm dealing with some pretty nasty liver issues. I'm worried about what else might come up down the line.

Just started this medication and already feeling the nausea and dizziness. My doctor said it should get better after a few days. Just hoping it does soon.

If you're feeling really out of it or having trouble with breathing, go to the ER. I had a friend who thought it was minor and she ended up in a coma. It's no joke.

Be careful with this stuff. I know someone who got addicted to it and it took them years to get clean. It's a powerful opioid and can mess you up if you're not careful. I had to switch to something less potent because I didn't want to take that risk.

I was on this for a few months after surgery and the fatigue was unreal. I felt like I was walking around in a fog all the time. It made it hard to go back to work. My doctor adjusted the dosage and added some vitamins, which helped a bit.

Just tried to take this with some alcohol and ended up in the ER with a bad reaction. Definitely don't mix the two!

I've been on this combo for a while and have experienced dizziness and constipation. Drinking lots of water and taking a stool softener helped a lot. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns, as they can tailor the treatment to your needs.
