I've been prescribed Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 Tb for a severe back injury, and I'm concerned about the potential side effects. The list is extensive, and I'm not sure what to watch out for. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? What should I do if I start feeling any of the urgent symptoms listed?

I had a really hard time with the constipation. That was the worst side effect for me. I had to take stool softeners and still struggled. Drink lots of water if you can.

If you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, don't mess around. Go to the ER immediately. It's not worth the risk. I had a friend who ignored hives and ended up with a severe reaction.

I found the fatigue to be the worst part. It made it hard to function normally, even with the pain under control.

If you're nervous about side effects, consider talking to your doctor about alternative pain management strategies. There are other options out there that might be less risky.

Serotonin syndrome is no joke. If you're taking any other medications that affect serotonin levels, be extra cautious and talk to your doctor.

Seriously, take the warnings about breathing difficulties seriously. I know someone who had to be hospitalized because of it.

This medication can be a lifesaver for pain, but it's important to be aware of the risks. One thing that worried me was the potential for serious skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome. If you notice any unusual skin changes, get to a doctor right away.
