Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 7.5-325: What You Need to Know About This Pain Reliever
I've been prescribed Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 7.5-325 for some severe back pain and the list of potential side effects is long and scary. Anyone else have experience with this medication? Worried about addiction and any other serious side effects. Has anyone had experience with serotonin syndrome from this? I've read that it's possible if it's combined with other medications but I'm not sure exactly what that means. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know if this can be used safely by an older person? I have a family member who would likely be on this for a few weeks and I just want to be sure it's going to be safe for them.

I took it once for a terrible toothache and it helped, but the dizziness was awful
I've been on this stuff for a month now and it's been a life-saver for my knee pain. But yeah, the side effects scared me at first. I did end up feeling really drowsy, but my doctor said it might just take a while to get used to. I do worry about addiction though, but my doctor said I'm ok as long as I only take it as prescribed and don't mix it with other drugs.
I had to take this for a back injury, My biggest complaint was the drowsiness that makes it hard to do simple tasks. I was also constipated. I didn't know what to do about that so I went to the ER. But they gave me a prescription for stool softener. I shouldn't have gone to the ER for that I guess, but it was bad. I'm better now. Thanks for listening!
Seriously, don't mix this stuff with alcohol. I did it once and felt like death. I went to the ER and they told me it could be very serious.
