I've been using Hydrocortisone 1% Cream for a few weeks now to treat some persistent eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I'm a bit worried about the side effects. I've read about some serious issues like high blood sugar and adrenal gland problems, but I'm not sure how common these are. Has anyone else had any unusual side effects or concerns with this cream? Also, does anyone know if it's safe to use long-term? I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this.

I used it to treat my dermatitis and it worked like a charm. I think its worth using if you have a serious skin issue.

Be careful with this stuff. I used it for a while and suddenly started gaining weight in my upper back and abdomen. My doctor said it might be Cushing's syndrome. I had to stop using it immediately. Make sure to consult your doctor regularly.

I've been on this for a while. Looked into the long term use and honestly it might be a bit risky. It's better to use it on body than face, and a topical steroid like this could actually worsen your skin condition. Do you have any other topical you can use? It's not worth the risk IMO.

I've had no side effects at all, but I've only been using it for a couple of weeks. I've heard it can cause skin thinning if you use it too much, so I try to use it sparingly. Does anyone know if it's safe to use on the face?

I've been using it for years for my eczema and haven't had any major issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions and don't overuse it.

I think it's important to talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. They can give you personalized advice based on your medical history.

Be very careful with this stuff. If you start experiencing any serious symptoms, stop using it right away and see a doctor. You never know what could happen with any drug.
