Hydrocortisone 100mg Enema 7 X 60ml: My Experience and Questions
I recently started using Hydrocortisone 100mg Enema 7 X 60ml for my ulcerative colitis. It's been a game-changer in managing the symptoms, but I'm curious about others' experiences, especially with the potential side effects. Has anyone else dealt with severe rectal pain or irritation at the application site? How did you manage it? Also, what are your thoughts on the possible side effects mentioned in the leaflet? Are they as scary as they sound, or have most of you had smoother journeys? Let's discuss!

Severe headache is not something to mess around with. If anyone experiences anything like that, go to the ER right away. I can't stress that enough!
I've been using this enema for a few months now, and while it's helped with the pain, I've experienced some mild burning sensations. It's manageable, but I'm always worried about the more severe side effects. Has anyone talked to their doctor about alternative treatments?
I had some severe headache and irritation at the application site. Had to stop using it and switch to a different treatment. it's a good product but might not be for everyone. Talk to your doctor about alternatives.
I think the burning sensations are normal. My doctor said it's just the medication working its way in. But if it gets too intense or if you experience any of those urgent side effects, definitely seek medical help.
So glad to find such good info here, Thanks for sharing
I've had some mild issues with skin changes, like acne and stretch marks. But honestly, they are worth the relief from the bleeding and urgency. The doctor said it's just a temporary side effect and would go away once I stop using it.
