I've been using Hydrocortisone 2.5% Cream 45g for the past month to treat my eczema, and I've noticed some significant improvements in my skin. However, I've also encountered a few side effects that I wasn't expecting. I've seen some people mention they believe their symptoms were 'caused' by the use of hydrocortisone creams, but I'm not sure how to tell if my symptoms are from the cream or something else.

This cream has been a lifesaver for reducing redness and itching, but I've also experienced some dryness and tingling. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this cream. Have you experienced similar side effects? Or maybe you've found ways to minimize these issues?

I've also read about some more serious side effects like allergic reactions and signs of high blood sugar. I'm a bit worried about these potential risks. Has anyone else had concerns about these severe side effects? How did you address them with your doctor?

I'm interested in learning more about other people's experiences and any tips they might have for managing side effects and getting the most out of this treatment.

If you're worried about side effects, talk to your doctor. They can help you weigh the risks and benefits and adjust your treatment plan if needed. Always better to be cautious.

I've been using Hydrocortisone 2.5% for a while now, and while it's helped with my dermatitis, I've noticed some skin thinning around the areas I apply it. It's not too bad, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on. If you notice this, maybe talk to your doctor about reducing the frequency of application.

I've found that applying a moisturizer after the hydrocortisone cream helps with the dryness. It's an extra step, but it makes a big difference. Also, make sure to wash your hands after application unless you're treating your hands. Otherwise, you risk transferring the cream to other parts of your body and potentially causing unwanted side effects.

Has anyone had a bad reaction from using hydrocortisone 2.5% cream? My friend thinks it made his eczema worse, but I'm not sure what to make of it.

I wish more people knew about the signs of Cushing's syndrome. I've seen a lot of misinformation online, and it's important to be informed. If you start gaining weight in unusual places or notice a 'moon face,' definitely speak to a healthcare professional.

I've had some tingling and burning after applying the cream, but it goes away after a while. It's a small price to pay for the relief it provides.

I had no idea that hydrocortisone could cause changes in eyesight. That's scary stuff. I guess it's important to keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and not just assume they're unrelated to the cream.
