I was prescribed Hydrocortisone 2.5% Cream for my eczema flare-up and it seems like it's helping, but I'm worried about the side effects. The bottle says to watch out for signs of an allergic reaction and other serious side effects like high blood sugar or skin infections, your experience can be a rollercoaster. Has anyone experienced any of these? I've got a few bumps and bruises but can't figure out if it's the cream or just my skin acting up. Also, how long did it take for the cream to start working for you? I've been using it for a week now and I'm not seeing much improvement. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been using hydrocortisone for a while now, and it's helped a lot with my eczema. I did notice some skin thinning, and my doctor recommended using it sparingly and not on my face. It also helped with the irritated skin on my hands which I'm a professional baker with sensitive skin and have itchy irritated hand area.

Hey, is this safe to use while pregnant? I have a rash and my doctor suggested it, but I'm not sure. Just wanted to check with some other moms or experts out there.

I was prescribed Hydrocortisone 2.5% for a rash and it cleared it up in a couple of days. No side effects, and it worked like a charm.

I've been using Hydrocortisone 2.5% Cream for a while now for my dermatitis flare-ups and it has been a lifesaver. It helps with the itching and swelling but I did experience some minor side effects like dryness and a bit of skin thinning around my elbows. I'd recommend using a really gentle moisturizer afterwards. It's definitely worth a try, just be sure to monitor your skin and consult your doctor regularly.
