I was recently prescribed Hydrodiuril 25mg Tablets for high blood pressure and swelling. I've been taking them for a couple of weeks now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What side effects have you experienced? Did they go away over time? I've had some dizziness and fatigue, but I'm hoping it's just my body adjusting. Also, I'm a bit concerned about the risk of skin cancer. How are you protecting yourself from the sun? If you have any tips or advice, please share! Thanks!

I've been on Hydrodiuril for a few months and the dizziness did go away after a couple of weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolytes. Good luck!

I've been on this for a year now and I haven't had any issues. I do my best to remember to take it every day.

Did your doctor mention anything about checking your blood sugar? I've had some weird symptoms and I've been told that it can increase blood sugar levels.

I switched to a different diuretic because I didn't like the way Hydrodiuril made me feel. But everyone is different, so maybe stick with it for a bit longer and see how it goes.

You know what? I'm just going to stick with the potassium supplements. Worst side effect I had was muscle cramps. Easy fix and I can handle the rest!

Just be careful with the sun exposure, folks. I had a friend who got a weird rash and it turned out to be a precursor to skin cancer.

I'm glad I found this thread. I just started taking Hydrodiuril and was feeling a bit nervous about the side effects. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I've been on it for over a year. One thing I've noticed is that I need to use the restroom more frequently. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had some pretty bad stomach cramps when I first started taking it. My doctor suggested taking it with food, and that helped a lot. Hope the dizziness passes soon!

The fatigue was tough at first, but it got better. Also, drink lots of water! It helps with the dizziness a lot.
